67 beetle looses power afer running awhile on the freeway.....runs fine after it cools off a bit

new 2275 motor.....electronic ignition....new coil......runs great until its on the freeway more then 15 min

check your belts and check the points on your alternator or the regulator. One of them is probly damaged or worn out.
