was 1959 the first year with enlarged rear windows?

1 Answer

Hi Troy, 1958 was the first year that VW enlarged the rear window. In 1953 they moved away from two small windows to one oval window, but it was the '58 model that VW introduced the enlarged rectangular rear window.
