1984 Jeep Wagoneer

Someone is trying to make a deal with me for a 1984 Jeep Wagoneer. It had a new smog system put in after 114,000 miles and currently
rests around 200,000 miles. new fuse box and some small other parts put in within the last month. They want 1,700 for it. I dont mind
the price as long as it doesn't put me in a future financial hole.   any comments? warnings?
