Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Automatic transmission will shift into first and
second but will not go into ovetdrive . it has a
button for overdrive on the gear lever what can I
check to solve the problem.

it might take a fuse i would check all the wireing and power supply before saying its the transmission

OK I changed the transmission fluid and the gas gauge and the temp gauge quit working but started back when I was turning on my light which is also on the steering column could that be related to the transmission not going into overdrive as well.

I think I would check the tranny linkage from carb I changed my carb to a Weber and had to mod it to get the OD to work check there
