Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1990 volvo 240 and I'm having problems with it and the only question my friends and mechanics cant tell me. the SRS light comes on just before my car stalls. what is the srs/

THE SRS light has something to do with the air bag system.

In 1966 the federal government ordered all of The vehicle manufacturers to supply a restraint System in all of their vehicles. The system Used were seat belts. Since then auto manufacturers has supplied A supplement to the seat belts called air bags There were known as "Supplemental Restraint System" or SRS the air bags supplemented The seat belts creating a safer automobile.
