i noticed the auto's adle speed seemed slow, almost to  the point of stalling. I was concerned it could be the turbocarger or catalyic converter and what the estimated prices for those items are?

If it's the catalytic converter, it'll cost you about $1, 000. If may be the Mass Airflow Sensor needing replacement, that'll run you $300-400. Check out http://30forty50.com/ for the online forums of guys who specialize in our cars - they've helped me out a lot!
