Got a tester? It's a little probe with the 12 V bulb on the other end. take a look at the source...and track it to the failure.

tracking this wire, ends up in a wire bundle, of course you wouldn't want to un-bundle anything, but you could note the color of the troubled wire and find it's origin point- pull out the electrical schematic, would help you to de-code these bundles.

sadly, I've got the same problem with Ole Bessie, left turn signal inextricably is putting out 350 mA instead of 12V. I did nothing except change the bulb....and now am dealt a most inconvenient problem as the left arm making a left for a hand signal gets old quick~!

Greetings from The Lone Star state! Q: I recently purchased a 2001 Volvo S60 Turbo in automatic. Non-Geartronic, 144K miles and in excellent condition minus "Transmission Service Req'd and Check Engine Light" on. The car is in limp mode and the car barely moves...just revs and seems like the discs aren't engaging to propel the car forward. The codes are "TCM- related and Cat Converter as well as "wrong gear ration 3". Several shops have stated that my tranny is screwed as 99s-02s trannies are junk. Anyway, will disconnecting my battery help the car reset and make the limp mode go away? I already have a print out with the codes. Thank you for any/all advice. 2 answers
