I found a long thread on the topic of the EPC light on the VWvortex forums: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?&id=2765670&postid=31704302 Sounds like you should take it to a mechanic who can check your engine with a diagnostic tool, and that the problem could easily be an O2 sensor.
