Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 Oldsmobile 88 with a v6 3800
engine. I went to start it & it clicks the lights come
on but it doesn't start. I'm wondering what it could
be. Could the solenoid need cleaned? Or is the
starter? I'm not good with cars. I took it to O'Reilly
awhile ago n the guy said it was somerhing that
needed cleaned out.

That would be the first thing to try remove and clean battery terminals you may need a jump to get the vehicle going.
