I have a ford f250 SD 4x4. When I accelerate I get a vibration under the truck but as I reach the higher gears it stops...any idea's on what causes this?

I have a ford f250 SD 4x4. When I accelerate I get a vibration under the truck but as I reach the higher gears it stops...any idea's on what causes this? Also how do I engage and disengage the manual 4 wheel drive on this model.  This truck is a AT 5.4L Triton with a manual 4x4...it is f250 super duty

Vibrations can be cause by worn out u-joints out of balance tires or even a bad cooling fan clutch can cause drive line vibration. The 4x4 you have to turn the locking hubs on the front wheels from FREE to LOCK then you have to move the shifter from 2H to 4H. Thats about it.
