Hi I have a 2005 ford sport trac 4x4, when I start my truck and go to put the heat ( or air ) on it doesn't always turn on..meaning I set the right dial to my selection then turn the fan speed..n nada
Hi I have a 2005 ford sport trac 4x4, when I start my truck and go to put the heat ( or air )
on it doesn't always turn on..meaning I set the right dial to my desired selection ( face,
face/feet, feet, defrost ect ) then set the left dial to the fan speed I want... And it's a 50/50
chance if it turns on or not... When it does turn on, it works fine unless u shut it off, then
your back to it randomly turning on or not. If I leave the dials set to what I want and start
driving...it will randomly turn on most of the time..it has been doing this for almost a year
now, but has gotten worse... No engine light was on until now..so I stopped at auto zone
and they did their comp check... Three possibilities: 1) check coolant level ...level in
reservoir is perfect... 2) thermostat defective 3) ect engine coolant temperature sensor
defective I'm guessing the heater/air issue is to blame for these codes...anyone know
which is the more likely suspect?
