I'm looking for the neutral safety switch

Asked by Tonytruck Jun 26, 2013 at 10:41 PM about the 2003 Dodge RAM 2500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 5.7 will not crank   I have power to the starter. But none to the solenoid   I have brand
new battery  and check the relay.  Switched with a/c relay. No change. Next thought was
the nuetral safety switch but doesn't seem to be where it should I am wondering if it is
internal? Any ideas would be helpful

yes...clean the 1/0 cable connection to the chassis/ground with a coarse wirebrush so that the amperage will not have to fight any corrosion~ You problems are from sufficient amperage...

We don't want cartoons. No disrespect, but a real life picture of this switch on the dodge ram 2500 would be much more beneficial to those(me) who can't find its location. I wish I had the treasure map....
