Dash back lighting for gauges, radio, and heater not working

Asked by Doug1962 Mar 28, 2014 at 02:46 PM about the 2000 Buick Century

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Checked fuses and main headlight switch. Pulled head light rotorey switch and cleaned
contacts thinking that might do the trick, still No back lighting. Is there something else
that could be the problem. I see other people asking similar questions but no one is telling
what actually fixed the prob.

This could possibly be related to a bad bcm, or body control module. A reputable mechanic with a GM Tech all scanner should be able to confirm or intentify issue.
