How it works. does it feed from both front and the rear or does it pull fuel from just the rear and siphons fuel from the front?

the system draws from on tank until the switch is flipped then thit activate a module down on the frame rail just behind the cab between the rail & the front tank, that tells witch fuel pump to turn on, wich is likley the cause if your truck will oinly pull fron one tank

well here is the freaky thing. I think it was siphoning fuel from the front tank to the rear tank. I flipped the switch to the front tank and started driving, then i flipped it back to the rear tank and it was full, whereas before i had a quarter of a tank in the rear.

11/1993 4.9 has no switch moduall or high pressure pump. The pcm controls the pump pressure. Note, the pcm is receiving inputs from a variety of inputs,

I'm having the same issue where it seems like gas is being siphoned from one tank to the other and I'm wondering if anybody has a quick fix for this or if that module just absolutely has to be replaced? I don't mind using only one tank for the time being if that is doable. Thank you in advance

I have a 1985 F-150 XLT it has dual tanks it doesn't matter which tank I'm on after a while it starts acting up like there's no gas in the tank if I switch from the rear to the front it stops but then it starts up again even though it's on the front so I switched back to the rear and it will go for a while and then it act up again like it has no gas I need to know if the fuel pumps in both tanks are bad or if it's the fuel switch that could be bad
