Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1993 ford f-150 pickup gear shift has a lot of play in it and I have trouble shifting into any gear.  If I keep moving the gear shift it will eventually go into that gear......Is there a pin that I can replace to correct this?  If so what is it called?  Please help!

You should definately go to Ford to get a diagram to get an exploded view of what you are working on. And, from the way it sounds, it's probably just a bushing that needs to be replaced.
