I believe you will find that the right macphereson strut has a degraded rubber bushing, and when you turn the steering to the right you will hear the rubber bushing scrubbing.  It is also an easy fix,  if you are mechanicly inclined,  but to fix it your self you will need to support the car on a floor jack (a good one) and remove the top portion of the strut on the right and replace the rubber pad directly under the nut and flange then replace the flange and nut.  Don't forget if there was a washer under the nut it should be there when you are done.
