Where is the adjusting bolt located for the distributor?

I have a 1987 Ford F250 4.9 in line six.
I need to advance the distributor since I tuned it but can't find the adjusting bolt...HELP

Should be right at the base of dist where it enters engine.

I though the same thing, but looking at them they all look like this, or very similar, with vacuum advance. But I can see this one has mechanical breaker points, a 1987 will not have those. Even my 1976 has no mechanical points. But it does have the bolt on the bottom plate, and I can't see WHAT hold these in place. Hmm.

Some motors have a u shaped piece that rides on and pinches the lip on dist shaft against the block when tightened. Loosen it and you can spin dist.

I am in the process of degreasing the engine so I can find this hold-down device. So far nothing. It's night and I will try again tomorrow..thanks!

Finished degreasing today and found the adjusting bolt. I had the right tool for the job (special 1/2" wrench) and I made the adjustment after a few tries. Thanks for all the advice...
