I lost my one andonly key for my 1979 vett how can i have another one made?

You may have to go out and buy a new lockset for the steering column and doors. Unless you can find a locksmith that can cut you a key from your existing locksets.

I can't seem to get into this car now that it's locked. The Key turns but the door stays locked as if there is some type of safety locking system.

I've got a 84 vette most of the time when I turn the key she dose nothing the lights dash every thing else comes on but the starter will not engage but some times if you jump it she'll start some time...
