I have a friend who has a 1976 impala -she wants to sell it but don't know what to ask for it--runs but needs paint job- she bought a newer model vehicle

In the Midwest 74-76 Impalas are a favorite with the Demolition Derby crowd, and even the roughest of examples goes for 1000.00 without too much trouble. The last 76 Glasshouse Impala I had went for 2500.00 bucks , had rust , 80k miles, a trans leak, but ran like a Swiss watch.
