Try to find a complete 4WD parts car that you can pull everything you need from. Otherwise it will be a heck of a job getting a part here, a part there. A parts car will also allow you to see how the 4WD was set up from factory and to take any necessary measurements, etc. to make your car work properly.

put blazer body on s10 frame and hook up everything, had a friend do this looks awsom.

what is the purpose of going from 4 wheel to a two wheel ? if anything just drop the drive shaft off the front diff

Do you have any pics of this? I was thinking of doing the same thing, but the S-10 frame is about 10" too narrow to work. I would REALLY like to have more info.
