Hello leeallen-- The Greenwood kit that you have on your 1985 Chevrolet Corvette was an after-market addition. For a look at the kits Greenwood is presently offering, go to http://www.greenwoodcorvettes.net/. Good luck from Bovan.

hmmm...interesting ?....I have an 84 greenwood and was told that the previous owner put it on....but I've also been told it was a 3500$$ option from the factory....the bottom is a little loose around the front quarter panel and it doesn't look like it was painted before installation which leads me to believe it was factory ....if ya get a sraight story lemme know...

Hello I once had the pleasure of test driving a greenwood and you should consider yourself lucky enough to own one The Greenwood on your spoiler is a stock addition to the car but more specifically a limited edition corvette Chevy put out in the 1980s called the Greenwood edition which festured greater horsepower and some other extras not included on the regular vettes they were limited in production however so I would look into it further because I don 't know what production numbers were exactly.

hey ben1220.... You know if this was factory or add on? I have an 84 with the greenwood but the front and rear sections are missing so I was thinkin of soon away with the side pieces and just keepin the wing on the back...I'd like to complete it if it's factory but I'm just afraid I'm gonna do that and then park someplace or close to curb and bust it all to hell...so low to the ground ya know plus I live in jersey where there are obstacles every where...any insight maybe?

John Greenwood was a Racer and after market supplier. The BF Goodrich Corvettes raced Daytona and Le Mans in the early 70's. Greenwood went on to focus on aftermarket body kits and modifications for Corvettes. MANY Chevrolet dealers and Authorized dealers customized Brand New Corvettes with Greenwood "Kits". Yours is likely one of them.
