235 Chevy Engine Swap

I have a 1959 Chevy with a blown 235 6 cylinder. I know where I can get a running 235 engine from a 1953 Chevy. Will the 1953 engine bolt right into my 1959? Will the bellhousing bolt right to my good 1959 Standard Trans?

Yes to all of your questions. The good old days of a easy swap are what you are going to do.Just take some pics of things in case you forget how things went. It might also be a good time to put a new clutch in ther since it's apart.
