how can I tell what auto trans I have in my 1999 s10 blazer 4x4 with a 4.3

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have been told it has a 4l60e, but every picture showes the shift solonoids in the rear of
the valve body , but this one has them on the front of the valve body

1995-2005 that's the only transmission they list for it other than a 5 speed.
