So it will idle, but it won't accelerate? Maybe your throttle cable broke off at the throttle body.

I belive the 06 aveo is throttle by wire. The throttle is controlled by a sensor on the gas pedal. Check that, most likely it came unplugged or has failed.

What could have caused my car to lose power when i apply gas pedal and make my engine louder? 1 answer
