there's a gear oil stick somewhere in the engine bay.. with a yellow cap... measure it from there...

if you mean gear oil leval in the tranny,their is a nut on right side of tranny,you remove the nut stick your finger in hole,if oil is on finger you ok,if not get a bottle of 90 weight gear oil put it in until it starts to run out of hole replace nut.some use the 90 weight oil,some use tranny fluid,both check the same way.a manual tranny has no dip stick.
