WATER PUMP

Hi dbookham! If you are working on a quad-4 engine you have to get to the timing chain to get that puppy out I believe. You should head to your local library to consult the Chilton's manual for your Grand Am before digging too much further if you are contemplating a switch out. However if it's a breakdown of the pump itself that you need then you'll probably need to talk to the service manager at your local Pontiac dealer. Good luck!
