why does it smell like fire in my trunk of my car

ugh my car is running really ruff and I smell fire inside of my trunk but see no fire what can it be

Check all wires in the trunk to include taillights and stereo wires located under the back dashboard. Look for burnt and or frayed wires

Your catalytic converter could be clogged & overheating. This would cause the car to run ruff.

it was my ignition coil packs and the EGR digital valve now the car runs awesome thank you all for helping me today
