My batterie is dead, how do I get the car in neutral to push it backwards so we can jump it

How do I put the car in neutral if my batterie is dead

Just turn the key like you were turning on. So you can release the shift knob to neutral

Battery death and how I turn on the key . My SUV is push bottom. HOW can I go to neutral .

There is a little hole near the gear shift. Press it and it will release the transmission to manual.
