oil in water

is this something as simple as changeing my pcv or is it a more serious problem i know that is has never had a proper tune up it has 70k on it so it is way overdue. thanks for the help too i would have never thought about that!

this sounds more or less like a head gasket problem. cus if u have a bad head gasket u typically start burning antifreeze but i could see oil mixing with it too. i'd see if u burn kind of sweet smell out of the exhaust also see if ur engine gets hot or white smoke out of the exhaust too.

A PCV valve wouldn't cause that. Is the engine DOHC or OHV? Your saying you have oil in your coolant reservoir? Is the oil in the engine a whitish color?

i have the dohc engine, oil in engine is fine no milk at all which is why i think it is so wierd a mechanic i asked told me could be the trans cooler there is a line that goes throgh the radiator an if it goes bad it will leak into coolant

im hopin this isnt what it is but it runs good shouldnt it miss or have some other typical symtoms of a blown head? after i flushed coolant system it didnt run hot at all and no smoke thanks for the help though
