Oil leaking from front driver side under car. Help

Yesterday While driving on the highway, I noticed my car started smoking. Look like it
was coming from the back on it. and it was bad. But when I pulled over I noticed a oil leak  
under the front drivers side.The car was also smoking from the front. It wasnt over heating.
While going up a hit on the highway, the car wouldnt go pass 20 miles perhour. felt like it
was struggling bad to get me back home. What could be wrong
