The overdrive gear stripped,I am able to drive with the electric o/d turned off.Will a 518(46 R hydrolic or 46 R electric)or 618(47 R hydrolic or 47 R electric) will work for me.I am looking to buy a used replacement trans.
Hello Graham-- It all depends on which engine you have in your 1995 Grand Cherokee. The 46Rh works with the 5.2 engines. Four the 4.0 engine you would need the 42RE.
