Hmmm, I wonder if there is a way to turn that function on... I haven't found how yet.

Do you have the backup sensors on the rear bumper? the backup sensor is an option , if your CR-V has a backup Camera, it doesn't mean that the car has Backup Sensors as well. Look at the rear bumper and see If you have sensors or NOT.

If your CRV is exquiped with back up camera and sensors, there is a round button in the cargo section of the car on the driver's side. The button has a 'sound' icon on it. Push it in, and the car will beep as you approch something to the rear of the car. Push it out and the beeping sound will be turned off. The grid lines on the navigation screen still appear whether the sound is on or off.

Excellent. I found the button quickly and pushed it in. The beeper now works.

The sensors are an accessory, not standard. They can be purchased and installed by a dealer if you didn't select them at time of purchase. I would like to know if there is an audible warning.

The button is on located in rear cargo bay on the driver side up about a foot or so on the side panel of the cargo bay. Look to your left as you are looking into the cargo bay from the back. The back up sensor was optional so it won't be all CRVs.

I just had them installed on my 2018 CRV touring. Yes they work but they are NOT integrated with the back up camera or side approach sensors (that use the short field radar that the blind spot sensors on the touring model use). They are just beepers. All said, if I had realized they were just beepers without integration into the rest of the camera system, I would not have spent the ~$750 that the cost as a dealer installed accessory.

It's the "P" button just under the start button. I couldn't even find it in the manual.

Shouldn’t the LED on the button light up when the button is pushed in?

I have a 2014 Honda Accord Sedan. It came with a backup camera and sensors. The sensors were working but now they are not. I do not have any such button on the dash of this car. Where can I find the button to turn the sensors back on?

Is there anyway to turn up the volume on the back up and other sensors??

These things need to be standardized in all cars. You grow to expect it if you have it but if you get into another car without it it be comes a safety hazard if you don't have it.
