about phone..
I just bought my Prius2....2012. When I plug In my phone does it need an adapter like the one in the cigarette lighter i as it did with my Celica? Because the USB port is in such an inaccessible place, I can't see what it needed.

Looks like you will need an adapter..

Now, after all that, if you have an ordinary cell phone it's no different than your Celica ...if you are talking about just charging the battery. But your Prius has bluetooth and all sorts of tech.
