According to Top Gear tests, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. It was the final Veyron, made specifically to beat the Aero TT's claim of fastest production car.

In April 2005, the Bugatti Veyron officially became the fastest production car with a top speed of 253.81mph. Then in October of 2007, the SSC Ultimate Aero took the honor from Bugatti with a top speed of 256.18mph. As of June 2010, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport reclaimed the title from the SSC with a top speed of 167.857mph. So, currently Bugatti has the title.
