my 2007 ford traus will not go into gear will not reverse or go into drive , i was driving it and then it just would not go into gear it slowed down as i turned the corner

Does it have enough transmission fluid? Do you know the number of a local transmission shop?

yes the transmission fluid was good

Most likely a bad torque converter. Seen it many times.

i agree with michael, the torque convertetcould be bad, also if is a manual shifter ; i'd check the pressure plate.
