Put the window all the way up, hold the switch up for about 5 seconds once the window is up, then push and hold the window switch all the way down for 5 seconds, then pull the auto up and let it close natural. It should go up and down with not problem.

This happened to my 2012 Dodge Avenger. New motor, or switch didn’t help. BUT! New master (driver) switch sealed the deal. Hope this helps.

I have a 20011 Dodge Avenger. My widow wouldn’t let up on the passenger side. You have to hold the up button on the passenger side and drivers side at the same time. And your window should go up.

Passenger window went down and would not go back up - I held down the control button for that window on both the driver's and passenger's at the same time for 5 full seconds, let go and it started working again....Chrysler engineering.

I had the same problem with my 2012 Avenger SXT. Rolled the window down, and when I reached my destination, could not roll up. All my research pointed to the motor, however it turns out all I needed was to replace the driver side switch! (Master switch) Same as Rachel. Available on Amazon for $21. Check this possibility out before wasting money on the motor! It’s also super easy and you can do it yourself.

You definitely have to change the Master switch, or driver side switch. It will fix everything!
