door locks unlocked when ignition turned on, open door light on concurrently

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Open door light remains on even tho' all doors are solidly shut, including the rear hatch. Doors lock normally, but when ignition turned on all doors unlock.

Took it to a mechanic, he squirted lube into the door latch mechanisms, Voila! Problem solved. Apparently, one or more doors weren't latching properly - resulting in the locks acting up.
