Where is the inertia switch located in a 1977 Super beetle convertible 1600?

Should be behind the passenger kick panel,in floor board,you will have to remove the kick panel.in front of door.

Found it! Upper drivers side corner underneath cardboard paneling right in front of cowling at same level as fuel tank. Underneath drivers side corner of the upper hood.

No relay, just the sensor to stop fuel flow in case of an accident.
