Either are great trucks.  I would be hard pressed to call one "better," it's just what you like better.

The only differance is the name. They are one in the same. As littlehorn said "Either are great trucks.  I would be hard pressed to call one "better,".
I agree.

both are great trucks. really the only difference in the two is the front nose clip and the rear, but both have the same engines , brakes, options, ect.

Identical vehicles in every way except the front grill and the badges.  I've owned a 97 Tahoe and a 99 Yukon.  Great, no-nonsense trucks that are darn near indestructible as long as they're maintained according to schedule.  Either one will darn near haul a house down the road if you want to and the four wheel drive is almost unstoppable.  I much preferred the late 90's GM SUV's to the replacements which lost some of the 'truck' identity and feel.

I get this question quite a bit. I own an '00 z71 silverado and an '08 Yukon. my step dad has an 09 tahoe. From what i can tell from every thing, the Yukon has a better feel in the handling department. GMC's seem to have an extra little touch that is hard to explain. I love my chevy, dont get me wrong, but it just seems that the GMC has a little extra edge to it.

They are essentially the same.  GMCs tend to be a bit more on the luxurious side as far as interior goes.
