My town car starts jumping sometimes when I eccelerate but stops when I press the gas peddle Dow. And when I get it up past 55 I can't even get it to do it any more..help?

Could be spark/ignition issue or fuel related. How many miles on the car and did you ever replace the spark plugs or wires? Any warning lights on the dash? Your car doesn't have a carburator. Take it into a local garage and they can diagnose your issue.

It's got 85,000 on it....I replaced the spark plugs a few years ago but I never drive the car cuz its kinda a shOw car.....no warning lights....just when I push the gas lightly it starts jumping but when I floor it then it stops

Now that I think about it..it started when I Put a new water pump in....maybe something to do with that?
