Have a 1999 Eddie Bauer, 4WD, auto trans w/reverse gear out- Have a chance to get E4OD auto trans out of 1997, F-150, 4WD, will it work with out any major modifications.
NO they are 2 different trannys,you will need one out of a vechicle like yours or have it rebuilt.
I need a transmission for my 1999 Ford Explorer V6-245 4.0L SOHC Automatic with AWD. What other can transmission can I use if I cannot find an exact 1999 F/E?
for a eddie bauer late 90s model exsplorer i know the 2 wheel drive uses a 5R55E but i do believe you can get a 5R55E with a transfer case for the 4x4
