How do I disconnect the throttle and cruise control cables from the throttle body ?

1986 Chevy Celebrity 2.5 4 cylinder. I am trying to remove the throttle body . I
can't remove the throttle and or Cruise control cable from the studded end of
the throttle. It fits in a long sloted cable end and I can't figure how to get it off ?

On the slotted cable there is usually a clip to pull off so the cable slides off, the throttle cable may be on a ball type stud, it just pulls straight off.
