Just make sure you take it to a G M C Dealer and Mechanic, they always know what they are doing !
do you find the problem with you light. I'm replace the bad socket on my and accidentally i'm touch the wired and the other side stop working also... I'm check all the fuse and i don't find any problem. replace the bulb for a new one and won't work either..
Ok... after many days finally i di my back up lights go back to work. I'm replace the fuse under the passager side (27) and replace 34 in the fuse box in the engine even if the fuse looks ok... Power go back to the wire but not light.... I'm dessambly the socke and i' find out one of the connector have a trick... even if is clean of corrosion the green line connector need to be touch the own connector is self to pass the power to the bulb.... I'm remove the connector, do the adjustement and the light go back to work Just need to be take you time and you will make the light go back to work too. Hope everyone understand my bad english :)
Same vehicle, same issue. Both sockets are corroded out. I have replacements, but there's an extra wire. I'm on here trying to figure out where to connect it.
