insufficient system ground...Follow the black battery cable to where it bolts onto the frame or fender....wirebrush that location and hold the lug with a pliers and wirebrush that one too~....this will restore proper grounding to all dashboard components....if it were the starter motor...there's a battery cable connection to the motor block as well~
