Question type: Maintenance & Repair

very hard to start. fuel pump not priming. crank over a few times it will start. changed fuel pump relay and oil press switch still no luck. runs fine when it does start. just no blast of fuel when you turn the key on

I have the same, 89' olds cutlass ciera v6. Currently running 84k miles strong. Did a partial tune-up at 75k miles..(radiator flush, transmission flush, plugs,) need to get new plug wires and power cores possibly... has a new alternator and starter. As well as AC compressor. But my heater core is blown, bypassed at the moment. But winter is approaching and nervous about all that.... Starter or clean your fuel injectors. I don't know what they use, I know it's not an exact injection, but when you run the additive in your gas it will really bring it up a notch.. as well as using 91. shell or chevron every now and then.
