need help! 2000 Ford windstar stopped running. Just stopped working. Turns over but wont stay on. Any suggestions?

About 3 weeks ago my van just stopped running. Driving to work started stud-er then turn
off. It turns over but doesnt stay on. Checked usual but nothing. Not sure what else to do.
I tried putting a coder on but doesnt work because van doesnt stay on.  Not sure what to
look for.
