Vent turning on all the time

Hi,

I have a brand new epica 2009 2.0 VCDI manual transmision. Up until 2500kms everything looked smoothly. Now I have the following problem:
1. as soon as the car reaches its working temperature (dial showing just under half scale) the vent of the radiator kicks in
2. When I get off the car I get a very strong smell of burning metal from the beneath the hood or car's underbody. I can't figure out where it is coming from.
3. Consumption is like 11l/100 kms at 100 kmh on straight,.. used to be below 5.5
4. when I press the pedal to the metal at around 1,300 rpm, there is a very strange noise, like very, very old fiat diesel trucks that vanishes at around 1,900 rpm.
5. at all the time these is an additional noise (beside the one of the engine) that sounds like somebody was blowing a low tone whilstle. I checked under the hood and it seems to be coming from the belts.
