how to take off a water pump ?

how do i remove the timing plate cover on my 95 dodge intrepid ? i have the top bolts off and can see the water pump, but cant get it all the way off. help ! any info on the job will help !

Hello fordbird302-- Are you sure that it is necessary to remove the timing plate cover to get at the water pump in your 1995 Dodge Intrepid? I can usually do the job without doing it.
