depends on which motor it has. if it has a 3.0 l v-6 then it is a big job to change. if it is a 4 cyl or a 3.3,3.8 then not so bad.

Depends what you call big job: I changed the water pump to my 3.0L in a Saturday (9AM-3PM) with common sense, a set of tools, a cold six-pack and a good shadow. Changed timing belt & tensioner as well. Saved about $300.00 in labor. Make sure its only the water pump. If it has overheated, you may have some other problems.

i have done it many times before. with a shop and air tools its only a 2 hour job.doing the timing belt is always the right thing to do when you are in there.
