How to change thermostat

Follow the top radiator hose over to the engine . it will hook up right where the stat is. Remove the 2 bolts and install the new one just like the old one came out, should come with a new gasket. Good luck

The thermostat on the 2007 Dodge Magnum is on the BOTTOM house, not on the top. If it where on the top hose or top of the engine, it would take approx. 30 minutes to remove/replace. However since it is on the bottom of the engine in the front, several items need to be dismantled, causing more labor. I called Dodge, Morristown, NY today (12-5-2014) and a "rough estimate" was $450.
